halfway there...

Well it's the middle of our second week, so field experience is halfway over! It will be bittersweet! It has been nice not having to go to class but it has been a lot of work and stressful at times making sure our lessons work out! Patty and I taught two lessons this week..the first in front of our cooperating supervisor. Unfortunately, I became sick that morning and had to leave in the middle of our lesson, so that was pretty embarrassing! Luckily everyone understood and they made me feel good for still attempting to come to school everyday ( thanks Patty :) ) Our lessons have gone well and we've gotten a lot of constructive criticism that we will be able to remember and apply to our own classrooms one day! It has been so fun developing bonds with the children. They're so sweet and we are really lucky to have such a great cooperating teacher and class!

That is like... worst nightmare come true! I feel so bad for you. Sounds like it all worked out okay but I sure it was stressful.

Whitney I just came across your blog. I miss you and haven't seen you forever! What grade are you teaching? You should come to AZ and teach with me!

I hope you are feeling better. I bet it was difficult. I hope the rest of your field is going well.
