Digital Storytelling Fun!

Digital storytelling is a really fun way to view information and see pictures along with what you're learning. You can also incorporate music and do different sounds along with each slide in the movie! This Video off of Youtube is a very informative way to discover digital storytelling and might be easier and a little more entertaining than reading about it! = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yU8zE5LBBY ... Now that you are aware of digital storytelling, please create a digital storytelling lesson on mountain men! Pick one of your favorites that we have talked about in class and create a movie about his journey to Utah!! Have fun and remember these important steps!! : 1. Write out storyboard and script.
2. Select images you would like to use for your digital story.
3. Select audio you would like to use for your digital story.
4. Select content and text you would like to use for your digital story.
5.Open Photo Story 3.
6.Import images into Photo Story 3.
7. Add titles, text, and/or information to your pictures (remember in using text less is more)if needed.
8.Change the effects of the pictures.

.... Make sure to have narration, music, pictures, a credits page, etc.. .we'll discuss more about this in class!

Election

I just wanted to remind you students about the upcoming election for the future President of the United States. It is very important for all of us to be informed on the two candidates, so I just wanted to let you know if you have any questions we can take a class period or two to talk about it!! Watching the news, reading the newspaper, etc. are all great ways to stay up to date and informed! Thanks :)
